Let us take you to Liverpool, home of the Beatles, the most famous pop band in the world, then on to Manchester to discover a proud Victorian city and Manchester United football club. The North West combines countryside, sporting history and culture.

Cheshire Heritage

The Cheshire countryside is renowned for its tranquillity and beauty. Little Moreton Hall, Congleton is the best and most striking of half timbered, black and white manor houses in the area, famous for its Long Gallery with its extremely uneven roof and floor. A truly remarkable building, carefully restored by the National Trust. Close by is Beeston Castle, dramatically situated on a sandstone crag, the ruined castle is open to visitors and provides a magnificent view of the Cheshire Plain.

Chester

This most attractive County town of Cheshire was founded by the Romans about AD48 and is famous for its well preserved city walls, now used as footways through the city.  It also possesses a magnificent 11th century Cathedral and the medieval half timbered 'Rows' - the double rows of shops, unique galleried arcades, one on top of the other, in the centre of town. Chester is an alluring city and an unrivalled shopping experience.
